Eaton, MI (November 8, 2023) - A 70-year-old Illinois resident was killed in a collision between a truck and a vehicle in Eaton County, according to local officers.
On November 8th, officers from the Eaton County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident report on northbound Interstate 69 in Walton Township. According to the investigation, a semi-truck and a cargo van collided on northbound Interstate 69. The vehicle, carrying seven people, flipped into a ditch.
A 70-year-old passenger was declared deceased at the site. The severity of the other victims' injuries remains unknown.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing at this time.
