Lansing, MI - Child Hospitalized in Pedestrian Wreck at Hickory & Holmes

Lansing, MI (November 14, 2023) - An 8-year-old Lansing boy was sent to the hospital on Tuesday morning after he was hit by a car while trying to catch the bus. According to officials, the boy was near the intersection of Hickory and Holmes around 7:00 a.m. The car that hit the boy was traveling at a low speed when the crash occurred, and police say the boy is expected to recover. The driver of the car that hit the boy stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. An inquiry is still ongoing in the meantime.
