Spaulding Twp., MI- One Killed in East Rd (M-13) Crash at W Townline Rd

Spaulding Twp., MI (March 22, 2024) – One person lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Saginaw County that occurred on Wednesday morning, March 20. At around 6:40 a.m., the Michigan State Police received a notification that a motor vehicle accident occurred on East Road, Michigan 13.

Preliminary reports show that a 38-year-old man was driving north on East Road when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle then entered the southbound lane of the road and crashed into another car. Both of the vehicles caught on fire. One person involved in the accident was fatally injured and pronounced deceased on site. Three additional vehicles were involved in the crash as well. A total of five people were injured and transported to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the state police are investigating.
