Washtenaw, MI – Car Crash Reported on I-94 near Old US-12

Washtenaw, MI (March 22, 2024) – The police, firefighters, and emergency medical services were all summoned to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Washtenaw County. The accident was reported to law enforcement at around 8:10 a.m. on March 22.

According to law enforcement reports, the left lane of Interstate 94 was blocked on the eastbound side of the roadway due to an automobile accident that occurred near old US Highway 12 at Exit 157. Delays were reported in the area as stop and go traffic extended back to Clear Lake Road. Emergency crews immediately secured the roadway to prevent further damage to the involved vehicles. Medics tended to the injured parties on site before transporting them to local hospitals. The accident is under investigation.
