Detroit, MI – Auto Wreck with Injuries Reported on Southport Fwy

Detroit, MI (December 16, 2024) – A hit-and-run accident reported in the Detroit area on Saturday evening left at least one person injured. The Detroit Police Department, firefighters, and paramedics were called to the scene at around 8:15 p.m. on December 14.

Reports indicate that vehicles collided in the 18,700 block of Southfield Freeway. Emergency crews closed the intersection while assisting victims and removing vehicles. Paramedics treated those injured on-site and transported them to local hospitals. The investigation is ongoing.
