Hudsonville, MI - Pedestrian Hit by Box Truck near Forest Grove Elem School on 32nd Ave

Hudsonville, MI (June 9, 1012) - On Thursday, June 8, a pedestrian was critically injured after being hit by a box truck in Hudsonville. 

The accident took place near Grove Elementary School on 32nd Avenue, just past noon. A box truck was traveling north when the driver lost control and entered the elementary school parking lot. The truck hit a school bus, five other vehicles, and a 35-year-old Hudsonville man that was standing between two of the vehicles. 

The man was pinned beneath the two cars before freeing himself. He suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
