Ann Arbor, MI – MDOT Reports Auto Accident on US-23 at I-94

Ann Arbor, MI (January 5, 2024) – The police and firefighters out of Washtenaw County responded to the scene of an automobile accident that sent an undisclosed number of victims to local hospitals, where they underwent treatment for injuries. The accident occurred at around 8:10 a.m. on January 4.

The Michigan Department of Transportation reported that a collision blocked the northbound side of US Highway 23. The incident caused disruptions in the area near Interstate 94 due to its blocking of the right lane of travel. Emergency crews responded to the scene of the collision to provide assistance. Emergency medical services provided treatment to the injured victims before transporting them to local hospitals. The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
