Wayne, MI – Crash Reported on I-275 near 7 Mile Rd

Wayne, MI (January 12, 2024) – A motor vehicle collision reported in Wayne ended with injuries. Calls for help came in at around 9:55 p.m. on January 11.

According to reports provided by the police, a collision occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 275 in the area between 7 Mile Road and 6 Mile Road. The incident caused stop-and-go traffic that extended between Exit 169 and Exit 170 as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Emergency medical services responded to the site of the collision to provide care to those harmed. The police and firefighters remained at the scene for an extended period as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. The accident is being investigated by law enforcement at this time.
