Novi, MI – Auto Accident on M-5 near 13 Mile Rd

Novi, MI (January 23, 2024) – The Michigan State Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent at least one person to a local medical facility for the treatment of injuries. The incident occurred at around 3:40 p.m. on January 22.

According to reports from area police, a crash occurred on the northbound side of Michigan 5. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near 13 Mile Road. Police and firefighters worked quickly to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported stop and go traffic that extended back to Interstate 275. Medics were requested on-site to care for those harmed in transport them to local hospitals. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
