Antwerp Twp., MI – Man Killed in Car Crash on 62nd Ave near 30th St

Antwerp Twp., MI (February 4, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in Antwerp Township claimed one man’s life. The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the accident on Thursday evening, February 1.

According to Sheriff’s office reports, a collision took place on 62^nd Avenue in the area near 30^th Street. One vehicle, a Lincoln Navigator, went off the roadway as a result of the collision and struck a tree. A 60-year-old man involved in the accident was fatally injured. The victim was extricated by firefighters and pronounced deceased while at the scene. At this time, the crash is under investigation. No other injuries were reported.
