Belding, MI. – A child was airlifted to hospital after a collision that left two adults injured on Sunday afternoon in Belding.
According to the Belding Police Department, the accident happened around 1:45 p.m. on M-44 near Orchard Street.
A 28-year-old Belding woman was driving a Black Cadillac CTS east on M-44 when she drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a westbound Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 49-year-old Conklin man.
A 7-year-old girl riding in the Cadillac was airlifted to an area trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
The woman and a 49-year-old Greenville man riding in the Silverado were taken to hospital for treatment.
The man driving the Silverado was unharmed.
More details about the accident were not released.
