Shiawassee County, MI. - A 6-year-old girl died in a two-vehicle collision near Owosso in Middlebury Township on Monday morning.
According to the Shiawassee County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around 7:45 a.m. at M-21 and Carland Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident morning accident. Police did not immediately determine the events leading up to the accident.
Officers arrived at the scene and performed life-saving measures on the girl. Sadly, the girl died at the scene and while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
