Goodland Twp, MI (June 23, 2023) - A two-vehicle crash in Goodland Township left one man injured on Wednesday, June 21.

At around 8 a.m., the accident took place at the corner of Van Dyke and Armstrong Roads. A 30-year-old Clinton Township man was headed north in a 2011 Ford Ranger when he made a left turn at the intersection. The truck was hit by a 2020 Ford F-250 hauling a boat driven by a 59-year-old man from Lorena, Texas.

The Ranger overturned and the other pickup was on top of the vehicle. Nearby drivers were able to extricate the driver who was unconscious when emergency responders arrived. He was taken to McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital in serious condition. No other injuries have been reported at this time.

Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
