Detroit, MI (July 19, 2023) - Officers with the Detroit Police Department reported a crash with apparent injuries on Wednesday afternoon, July 19, and launched an investigation into the incident.
Per an alert released by the Michigan Department of Transportation, the wreck happened just before 3:40 p.m. on the eastbound side of U.S. Highway 10. DPD officers and local paramedics arrived at the scene shortly thereafter and shut down nearly all lanes before Pembroke Avenue and San Bernardo.
Paramedics were dispatched after DPD police blocked off the area, but no information about the drivers or the extent of their injuries has been released.
DPD officials will handle the ongoing investigation and plan to release further details as they become available.
