Scio Township, MI (July 21, 2023) - According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle crash took place in Scio Township on Wednesday afternoon, July 19, resulting in victim injuries and the closure of a local intersection.
Per deputies, the crash occurred at the intersection of Dexter-Ann Arbor Road and Miller Road. Per the latest details provided by the sheriff's office, the incident happened around 1:45 p.m., and police reported the wreck about 10 minutes later.
It's unclear how many victims suffered injuries, but EMS units and fire rescue squads were called shortly after Washtenaw deputies sent out their initial alert.
Deputies are handling the ongoing investigation and say the circumstances surrounding the wreck remain unclear. Any witnesses to the collision were asked to contact officers to provide any additional information.
