Kalamazoo, MI (July 23, 2023) - According to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, a driver was brought to the hospital following an accident in southern Kalamazoo on Sunday afternoon, July 23.
Per additional information provided by the Kalamazoo Consolidated Dispatch Authority, the collision happened on South Westnedge Avenue, close to Fairview Avenue and Whitcomb Street. Drivers were advised to find other routes as of Sunday afternoon, though Westnedge has since reopened.
Further information is limited, but officers with the Kalamazoo Police Department will be handling the remainder of the investigation. The circumstances behind the incident remain unknown in the interim.
