Detroit, MI - Traffic Crash on I-96 Near Fuller Ave Injures Victims

Detroit, MI (July 24, 2023) - On the afternoon of Monday, July 24th, detectives from the Detroit Police Department received a report of a multi-vehicle crash involving apparent injuries and launched an investigation.

According to an accident notice issued by the Michigan Department of Transportation, the collision happened on the westbound side of I-96 at around 5:40 p.m. Shortly after being called, DPD officers and paramedics closed nearly all lanes before Fuller Avenue.

Paramedics were called once DPD police had cleared the site, but the current status of the injured or the extent of their injuries remains unknown. The DPD will disseminate updates as they become available and oversee the ongoing inquiry.
