Comstock Township, MI (July 26, 2023) - On Tuesday morning, July 25, area traffic was blocked due to a deadly motorcycle accident in the Comstock Township area, according to an alert released by local fire rescue teams.
Just before 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the fire department reported on Facebook that firefighters had rushed to the deadly motorcycle collision on North 26th Street at the junction of East Main Street.
The area was closed for about an hour as the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation. The sheriff's office did not release specific details publicly but did report that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is still active and ongoing in the meantime, and Kalamazoo authorities asked any witnesses to step forward.
