Comstock Township, MI (July 28, 2023) - The Comstock Township Fire Department reported that a bicyclist was hurt in a vehicle collision with another driver on Thursday evening, July 27.
At around 10:50 p.m., sheriff's officers and EMS workers responded to a bicycle accident on River Street, not far from King Highway.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office reported in a press release that a driver exiting the private throughway collided with a bicyclist riding along River Street. Deputies cited the driver, and paramedics transferred the injured biker to Ascension Borgess Hospital, where they remain hospitalized in unknown condition.
An investigation still remains active, but specific details about those involved have not been released publicly.
