Oshtemo Township, MI (July 28, 2023) - On Thursday, July 27, a motorcycle rider died after a crash involving a pickup truck in the Oshtemo Township region.
According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office, the collision occurred around 7:45 p.m. on South Ninth Street, close to Bluestone Boulevard. Firefighters from Oshtemo Township also assisted, along with local EMTs.
However, despite life-saving measures attempted by EMTs, the motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene.
The other driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with the inquiry, though it's unclear if any other individuals suffered injuries in the crash. Kalamazoo deputies say that the accident is still being investigated.
