At 12:50 p.m., the Michigan Department of Transportation issued an incident alert reporting an accident on northbound Interstate 75 near the Mackinac Bridge.
Local emergency medical services were quickly deployed by the Detroit Police Department. Although paramedics evaluated all those involved, the exact number of casualties remains unclear.
