Traverse City, MI (August 4, 2023) - According to officers with the Traverse City Police Department, one person crashed into another car late on Friday afternoon, August 4, in the Traverse area.
Around 4:00 p.m., two drivers were traveling on the eastbound side of South Airport Road when the crash occurred just before the local Costco. The circumstances immediately leading up to the collision are unclear, but officers with the TCPD responded shortly after the incident occurred. Paramedics were also dispatched, though the total number of victim injuries has not been released.
TCPD officers say their investigation is active and ongoing but have not said whether citations or charges will be filed concerning the crash.
