Detroit, MI (August 6, 2023) - On Sunday afternoon, August 6, officers with the Detroit Police Department were reportedly dispatched to the site of a multi-vehicle accident that ended in apparent victim injuries.
According to an accident notification issued by the Michigan Department of Transportation, the wreck occurred on westbound Interstate 94 near the exit to Sprinkle Road. Officers from the Detroit Police Department and troopers from the Michigan State Police arrived at the scene of the collision at around 5:00 p.m.
The DPD quickly deployed local emergency medical services, and paramedics arrived to assess the injured victims, though their current conditions remain unclear.
The DPD officers leading the investigation have asked that any witnesses get in touch with them.
