Detroit, MI (August 7, 2023) - On Monday morning, August 7, a car accident on Interstate 94 in Detroit left at least one person injured.
The incident occurred on westbound Interstate 94 just before the transition ramp to 8 Mile Road. Just after 10:20 a.m., troopers with the Michigan State Police arrived at the scene and began their on-site investigation. According to the early reports filed by the MSP, the event occurred in the right lanes, and officers added details about a potential secondary collision that took place near the right shoulder.
It's unclear how many people were hurt, though EMS crews were seen assisting the victims at the scene. MSP troopers are handling the ongoing investigation and asked any witnesses to get in touch with them.
