Detroit, MI (August 7, 2023) - During the early afternoon on Monday, August 7, at least two vehicles were involved in an accident on Michigan Highway 39 in the Detroit metropolitan region, prompting a response from the Detroit Police Department.
The crash, which closed virtually all left and center lanes on northbound M-39 at 7 Mile Road, happened around 1:45 p.m., according to preliminary accounts from the DPD. Authorities quickly initiated an on-scene investigation after the roadway was closed, as reported by the Detroit PD and the Michigan Department of Transportation.
