Detroit, MI (August 9, 2023) - The Oakland County Sheriff's Department got a call about a pileup on northbound I-75 around 7:30 a.m. on August 9.
Emergency medical services, law enforcement, and the Michigan State Police all showed up by 7:15 a.m. Authorities had to shut down a large section of right lanes at the Rochester Road exit so they could conduct an investigation at the scene. Quickly responding medical personnel assessed the situation and began administering first assistance. The condition of the two or more drivers involved in the accident is unknown.
Local law enforcement is aggressively looking for potential witnesses. The police investigation is ongoing, and further information will be released next week.
