Silver Creek Township, MI (August 12, 2023) - Cass County authorities say two men were hurt when an accident forced one car off the road on Saturday afternoon.
Two vehicles collided near the intersection of Michigan Highway 62 and Indian Lake Road in Silver Creek Township, Cass County, around 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 12.
A 90-year-old Granger man allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign as he drove north on Indian Lake Road. A 63-year-old man from Dowagiac was heading eastbound on M-62 at the same time when the two collided, forcing the Dowagiac man and his car off the road.
The first driver received care on the scene, while the man from Dowagiac was sent to a local hospital. Indian Lake Fire Department and Pride Care Ambulance aided sheriff's deputies at the site, though no further details were released in connection with the incident.
