Detroit, MI - I-94 Scene of Injury-Causing Accident at Telegraph Rd

Detroit, MI (August 13, 2023) - On the evening of Sunday, August 13, at least one person was harmed in a car collision on Interstate 94 in the Detroit region.

Detroit Police Department officers were sent to the incident, which was situated on the westbound shoulder of the freeway, and they started their investigation there before the Telegraph Road exit. Around 6:45 a.m., Michigan State Police officials joined local Detroit police at the event side to provide a hand. According to preliminary MSP reports, the collision occurred on the entrance ramp to Telegraph.

The wounded had access to emergency care, but the official death toll was not made public. The MSP leads the investigation and wants to hear from anybody who may have information.
