Detroit, MI (August 14, 2023) - On Monday, August 14, multiple drivers were involved in a crash on Interstate 75 in the Detroit area.
Shortly after the collision, officers with the Detroit Police Department were called to the scene. The DPD's preliminary investigation indicates that the accident blocked all lanes at Little Mack and occurred just before 3:00 p.m. The Michigan Department of Transportation and the Detroit Police Department said that an on-site inspection had begun at about 3:30 p.m. and that all lanes were reopened by 5:00 p.m.
No further details about the collision have been released, though paramedics evaluated at least two people for injuries at the scene. In the meantime, DPD officers are handling the ongoing investigation.
