Detroit, MI (August 21, 2023) - On Monday afternoon, August 21, at least one person was hurt in a vehicle wreck that occurred at a local Detroit intersection.
According to officers with the Detroit Police Department, the incident took place on Gratiot Avenue at 8 Mile Road around 3:50 p.m. Over the city's scanner, Detroit police officers requested medical assistance and alerted detectives to the incident. A gray SUV was involved in the collision and hit several parked cars after the initial collision, though the details surrounding the crash are not fully known.
Paramedics were on hand to assist anyone who was hurt; however, it is unknown how many victims sustained injuries. The DPD has requested that any possible witnesses get in contact with them.
