Detroit, MI - Vehicle Crash Causes Injuries on I-94 at Mt. Elliott

Detroit, MI (August 21, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in an auto accident on Interstate 94 in the Detroit area on Monday morning, August 21.

Officers from the Detroit PD were summoned to the scene, located on the westbound side of the highway, and began their on-scene investigation around the Mt. Elliott exit. Officials from the Michigan State Police also arrived at the incident site around 9:15 a.m. to assist local Detroit officers.

Emergency medical assistance was available to treat the injured, though the total number of victims was not disclosed publicly. The MSP is in charge of the investigation and has requested that any witnesses contact them.
