Detroit, MI (August 23, 2023) - At least one person was reportedly hurt in an apparent rear-end collision on Wednesday afternoon, August 23, in the greater Detroit area.
At about 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon, officers were sent to the eastbound side of Interstate 96 at the exit to Davison Avenue. Detroit PD authorities then radioed for medical assistance and alerted troopers with the Michigan State Police via local dispatchers after shutting down the left side of the roadway.
Paramedics were also at the site of the wreck to assess all injured victims; however, it is unknown how many people were hurt. In order to further their investigation, the DPD has requested that any possible witnesses get in contact with them.
