Downriver, MI - Man Killed in Train Accident at Pelham & Wick Rds

Downriver, MI (August 23, 2023) - On Wednesday, August 23, police were called to the scene of a major train accident in Downriver.

Shortly after 10:00 a.m., police in Allen Park responded to a report of a person being hit by a train at the intersection of Pelham Road and Wick Road. The police have confirmed that a man was struck and killed but have provided no other information. The man's identity is being kept confidential for the time being.

The police requested that the public stay away from the location while they conducted their investigation. As of 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the roadway was clear, but police warned that their investigation continued.
