Detroit, MI (August 24, 2023) - Two cars collided in the greater Detroit area on Thursday afternoon, August 24, leading to a handful of victim injuries.
Around 5:10 p.m., the collision occurred on the northbound side of U.S. Highway 131 at its junction with Pine Island Drive.
A preliminary inquiry by Ingham County sheriff's detectives indicates that at least two drivers were involved, though the circumstances leading up to the accident remain unknown. EMTs were also dispatched to assess injured parties at the site of the wreck, but details on their conditions were also withheld.
Police are still looking into what caused the accident and have not provided additional information at this time.
