Detroit, MI (August 24, 2023) - A rear-end collision occurred in Detroit on Thursday, August 24, causing injuries to at least one individual, per local police reports.
At about 5:00 p.m., officers were sent to the southbound side of I-275, close to the exit ramp for Ecorse Road. Officials in Detroit blocked off the left lane of traffic, radioed in for medical assistance, and alerted local dispatchers to call troopers with the Michigan State Police.
Shortly thereafter, paramedics arrived on the site of the collision, though it is unknown how many people were hurt. Any prospective witnesses are urged to contact the DPD so they may continue their investigation.
