Ingham County, MI (August 24, 2023) - At 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 24th, a major collision occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 96 near Williamston Road, as reported by the Ingham County deputies.
More than 25 vehicles were involved in the accident, which has yet to be cleared from the stretch of Interstate 96 where the incident occurred. According to the dispatchers, at least two other persons were hurt, in addition to one person who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities have closed the roadway so they can continue their investigation, which is currently ongoing.
