Detroit, MI (August 26, 2023) - On Saturday night, August 26, it was reported that at least one person had been hurt in what seemed to be a rear-end accident on a nearby roadway in the greater Detroit region.
Police were sent to the vicinity of Shook Road and I-94 westbound at about 11:20 p.m. After the left side of the road was closed, officers from the Detroit Police Department radioed for medical aid and made contact with troopers from the Michigan State Police via local dispatchers.
The number of injuries is still unknown, despite the fact that paramedics arrived at the scene to treat at least a handful of victims. The DPD is requesting any potential witnesses to get in touch with them and aid in their investigation.
