Detroit, MI - Injury Vehicle Crash on I-94 at 9 Mile Rd

Detroit, MI (August 27, 2023) - On Sunday, August 27, in the late afternoon, a motor vehicle collision on Interstate 94 in the Detroit area injured at least one person.

After arriving at the site, which was on the eastbound left side of the highway, officers from the Detroit Police Department started their investigation. At around 3:15 p.m., local Detroit police officers joined Michigan State Police personnel to provide aid shortly before EMTs arrived, just after the 9 Mile Road exit.

Although paramedics evaluated the wounded at the site of the accident, it is yet unclear how many people were hurt. The MSP, who is in charge of the investigation, is looking to talk with anybody who may be able to provide information about the collision.
