Detroit, MI (August 28, 2023) - On Monday, August 28, many vehicles collided, closing almost all lanes of southbound Highway 10 after 7 Mile Road. The Detroit Police Department was sent to the scene.

According to a notification from the Michigan Department of Transportation for the Wayne County area, the route was shut down due to an apparent two-vehicle collision. The Detroit Police Department and the Michigan State Police arrived at the scene at about 2:30 p.m. and immediately began investigating.

It is still unknown how many persons were injured, but the Detroit Police Department also requested emergency medical assistance.

The DPD's investigation is winding down, and detectives are interviewing potential witnesses. Since then, no other details have been revealed.
