Detroit, MI - Injuries Occur in Multi-Car Wreck on I-75 at I-94

Detroit, MI (August 29, 2023) - On Tuesday afternoon, August 29, at least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision on a highway in the Detroit region.

The exit from northbound I-75 to southbound I-94 was the site of the wreck, which was initially reported to police dispatchers around 12:45 p.m. After almost all right lanes were blocked before the off-ramp, officers from the Detroit Police Department radioed for additional assistance from local EMTs and made contact with Michigan State Police troopers for aid in the investigation.

Paramedics treated the injured victims, though the total number of victims is yet unclear. Any potential witnesses are being asked to contact the DPD.
