Lansing, MI – Collision Reported on US-127 near I-69 BUS

Detroit, MI (August 31, 2023) - Multiple drivers were involved in an accident on Thursday morning, August 31st, at the Fuller Avenue exit of westbound Interstate 696. This caused practically all right-turn lanes to become impassable.

The Detroit Police Department responded quickly, sending officers to the location. The Michigan Department of Transportation reports that at least two or three automobiles were involved in the incident that forced traffic to stop in both directions on the expressway in the Kent County region.

Just before 8:00 a.m., law enforcement officials from all around Michigan, including Detroit, came to begin their investigation.

The Detroit Police Department had requested medical aid; however, it is unclear how many people were hurt.

The DPD has finished interviewing all of the remaining witnesses in its inquiry. Nothing new has come to light in the meantime.

We offer our thoughts and best wishes to the injured victims at this time.
