Wyoming, MI (August 31, 2023) - Authorities say a teenager was struck by an automobile on Thursday near Kelloggsville High School.
The Wyoming Division of Public Safety estimates that it occurred about 4:10 p.m. According to the police, the 16-year-old was hurt but conscious and cooperative with the emergency personnel.
The injured victim was transferred to a nearby medical facility for treatment, though officers say the driver involved fled the scene before they could interview the person. An investigation remains ongoing, and witnesses were asked to step forward with additional information.
