Detroit, MI (September 1, 2023) - Two drivers apparently collided on Friday morning, September 1, in the Detroit area, injuring at least one person.
The incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 696, not far from the Woodward Avenue exit. Detectives with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office found, upon their arrival, that at least two drivers were involved in the incident. However, the specifics surrounding the victims and the details leading up to the wreck remain unclear.
Emergency medical technicians were also sent to the crash scene to evaluate any injured parties, but no additional information regarding their current conditions was provided.
The authorities are still looking into what caused the collision and have not released any other details publicly.
