Grand Blanc Twnshp, MI - Critical Injuries in Dort Hwy Motorcycle Crash at I-75

Grand Blanc Township, MI (September 4, 2023) - In the area of Grand Blanc Township on Saturday, September 2, a motorcycle collision resulted in two persons sustaining critical injuries.

Authorities said the collision occurred at a roundabout between Dort Highway and Interstate 75.

The driver of the motorcycle and his passenger were ejected from the bike after an accident at the roundabout, according to reports from officers with the Grand Blanc Township Police Department. The driver, a 51-year-old Burton man, suffered severe head injuries. The 50-year-old female passenger, also from Burton, was seriously hurt as well, though her current condition and the extent of her injuries are unknown.

Police believe that alcohol use may have contributed to the collision, but they say their investigation is ongoing in the meantime.
