Macon Township, MI (September 4, 2023) - On Monday, four people were killed after two cars crashed on Milwaukee Road in Macon Township, southwest of Ann Arbor, according to the Michigan State Police.

One of the drivers was declared deceased at the scene of the accident, according to the MSP report. The automobile had three more passengers, all of whom were later pronounced dead at the site. The other driver was taken to the hospital because they needed medical treatment following the accident.

After the accident, state police did not immediately reveal any details, including the sexes and ages of the victims or the exact reason for the incident.

After the MSP troopers had finished their on-scene investigation, the route was blocked for cleaning. The events leading up to the disaster are now being investigated.
