Detroit, MI (September 7, 2023) - On Thursday, September 7, two vehicles crashed on Interstate 94 in the Detroit region, potentially injuring many people.
The right shoulder and the off-ramp to Ecorse Road seem to be the sites of the multiple-vehicle collision. At 8:30 a.m., investigators from the Michigan State Police and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrived. Several right lanes on westbound I-94 were shut down due to the incident.
At least two people were hurt and sent to the hospital, but we don't know how serious their injuries are just yet.
The investigation has yielded no more details at this time.
