Dearborn, MI (September 8, 2023) - An 82-year-old woman was killed after she was hit by a vehicle as she crossed the street on Tuesday morning, September 5, according to local authorities.
A black Ford Focus struck the woman as she was crossing Warren Avenue at Freda Street at about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5. The woman reportedly died after being transferred to Corewell Hospital-Dearborn for emergency treatment.
It is unclear if the driver of the black Ford Focus stayed at the scene.
Officers with the Dearborn Police Department are seeking witnesses who were in the area at the time of the crash, though they have not provided further details in connection with the incident. An investigation remains active and ongoing.
