Detroit, MI - Injury Vehicle Wreck on I-94 at Telegraph Rd

Detroit, MI (September 9, 2023) - Late on Saturday evening, September 9, several vehicles crashed on a highway in the Detroit region, hurting at least one person.

The accident, which was first reported to police at 9:10 p.m., happened on eastbound Interstate 94 after Telegraph Road. Initial reports indicate that the collision caused the entire roadway to be blocked after one of the vehicles rolled over at the scene. Detroit Police Department officers called local emergency medical technicians and troopers from the Michigan State Police for aid with the investigation.

Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter to aid the injured victims, but it's unclear how many people were ultimately involved in the incident. The DPD is requesting that any potential witnesses come forward.
