Detroit, MI (September 14, 2023) - On Thursday night, September 14, a serious accident forced the closure of all southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in the greater Detroit region.
At around 9:50 p.m., officers from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene of an accident on northbound Interstate 75 at 11 Mile Road.
The number of people injured in the event is unclear; however, dispatch has requested emergency medical services. Officers also did not say how seriously the victims were hurt.
Deputies and troopers with the Michigan State Police are still looking into the incident to try to identify what caused it.
