Detroit, MI (September 19, 2023) - The Detroit Police Department sent an early accident notice on Tuesday, September 19, reporting a collision that required the assistance of police and paramedics.
Officers and paramedics were sent to the site of the collision, according to the Michigan State Police. Per all preliminary data collected at the site, the accident happened at about 5:15 p.m. near the interchange between northbound Interstate 275 and I-94 eastbound. As of Tuesday night, no more information on the fatalities or the circumstances of the event had been made public.
In the meanwhile, officials in Detroit are continuing their investigation into the crash. Additional witnesses were requested to come forward.
